Lego Robotics

The Stuart Hall Robotics Program is an after-school program whose primary purpose is getting children excited about engineering and technology by introducing them to the First Lego League (FLL). The FLL is an international robotics program in which students, with the aid of a coach/moderator, build and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS Technologies.

S/H Robotics is open to students in Fourth Grade through Seventh Grade.

S/H Robotics Team

Moderators: Mrs. Adair and Mr. Krieger

Members of SH Robotics Team meet once per week to build and program their own robots to perform certain functions according to the FLL guidelines. There is also a research project associated with the FLL Program each year that focuses on improving the community in some way. While there is a coach and a moderator present at the meetings, the boys themselves build/program their robots and do the necessary research for the project. Members of the S/H Robotics Team are also given the opportunity to attend Robotics Tournaments where they compete against other robots and present their research findings to a group of judges.

S/H Robotics Club

Instructors: Mrs. Adair and Mr. Krieger

Lego Robotics is a school club during which your son can complete a project and Lego missions. Using Lego FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science and Technology) theme and missions, students work together to solve real-life problems. Team members should be able to attend all meetings.
