Our PK3-2nd graders had a wonderful time listening to stories with Adella Adella the Storyteller last week. #shknights #blackhistorymonth #latergram
Our Knights make a clean sweep! Congrats to our K4 Team, who were named City League Chess Champions today! #shknights #chesschamps
Congratulations to our K6 Chess Team for placing first and our K2 Chess Team for taking second in the City League Chess Championship. Good luck to our K4 Team, which competes tomorrow. #shknights #chesschamps
Our Knights are serving up some sweet treats for Valentine's Day! #shknights
Thank you so much to Mayor LaToya Cantrell for visiting our school yesterday and speaking to our boys about diversity, peace and social justice. Mayor Cantrell answered questions from our boys about the state of the City of New Orleans and what it takes to be Mayor. We are grateful to Mayor Cantrell for taking time out of her busy day to spend time with our Knights and for her enthusiasm and candor.
As part of their study on presidents and the election process, our 3rd graders each researched and campaigned as a past president before holding a grade-wide election. Congratulations to their new president and vice president elect!
The Perseverance Post Office is in full swing! Thank you to our Second Grade for sorting and delivering our Knights' letters.
Kudos to all of the participants of our Middle School Spelling Bee this morning and congratulations to our top 3 spellers! All 10 of our spellers will go on to compete at the Regional Spelling Bee on March 23.
Watch your step and please don't feed the alligators. Such awesome art work by our 2nd graders!
Guess who we caught sitting among our Knights this morning in Chapel? #thewitches #roalddahl
