2017 S/H Summer

We are excited to announce our options for our upcoming summer program for S/H students and their siblings! Please note that all morning camps will end at 12 p.m. and the afternoon camps start at 12:30 p.m. Between 12:00-12:30 p.m., we will have a supervised lunch/snack time for any students who wish to bring a bag lunch.

(Siblings are welcome to register; however, priority is given to Stuart Hall students.)

Enrichment & Jump Starts

Week of July 31 -August 4

Offered to all students and siblings

  • Summer Musical Theater Camp: 12:30-2pm/ $200 per student, per week. (2 week option available)
    Instructors: Ryan Asprion & Nicole Dwyer
    Musical theater games, warm-ups and general stage direction. We will learn hits from Broadway musicals and choreograph routines for an end of the week performance. 

Offered to rising PK4-3rd Graders

  • Get Your Groove On! 8am-12pm/$250 per student, per week. (2 week option available)  
    Mind, Body, Spirit Conditioning with Mrs. Kacie, Mrs. Kelsey, Ms. Cayla and Mrs. Stephanie. Students will be divided into age groups to rotate to 45 minute classes of Art, Religion, Movement, Gym Games and Free Play!

Offered to rising PK4-4th Graders
PK4-2nd meets in the morning and 3rd & 4th meet after 12:30 p.m.

Kimberly Bradley, MS, LOTR at Kim4Kids, LLC is pleased to offer a summer academic and enrichment program for handwriting. Handwriting Helpers is a program designed specifically for students who would benefit from academic preparation of written work for the upcoming school year. Handwriting Helpers has been developed to fit the writing needs and demands that your child will experience in his upcoming grade level.

Listening For Success was developed from the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center’s program, Language to Literacy. The program is dedicated to enhancing academic performance through the following skills: auditory processing, phonological awareness, phonics, expressive and receptive language, as well as teaching students to be self-advocates in the classroom and to use resources. 

    Offered to rising 3rd Graders

    • Chrome Camp 10am-12pm/ $150 per student
      Everyone loves using the Chrome books, but sometimes learning how to use them can be a bit tricky. Come to Stuart Hall’s Chrome Camp to get the edge before starting the school year. At Chrome Camp you will learn how to successfully log on/off of the chomebooks; how to create a GoogleDoc (Very helpful since third graders write their book reports on Google Docs); how to name and edit a document; how to do fun things like download pictures and manipulate font size and color; how to navigate popular websites used in third grade; and how to correctly use the keyboard, including lots of awesome shortcuts.

    Offered to rising 4th-7th Graders, including siblings

    • Summer Learning Lab: 8am-9:30am/$140 per student.
      Instructor: Mrs. Judy Cusimano
      Covers study skills and successful learning strategies. Includes organization, time management, long-term memory techniques, note taking, and active listening skills. Students will determine their best learning styles and acquire strong test-taking skills. Parents are encouraged to attend!
    • Science & Math “METALS” Camp: 9:30am-12pm/$350 per student.
      Instructor: Mrs. Judy Cusimano
      METALS Camp is an interactive, hands-on camp with an emphasis on math, engineering, technology, arts, logic and science. Activities include labs, experiments, math games, engineering and guest speakers.

    Offered to rising 8th Graders

    • Latin Camp: Time- 10am-12pm/$140 per student.
      Instructor: Mr. Patrick Dunphy
      Dust up on your Latin skills for the new school year!

    Week of August 7-11

    • Cooking Class with Chef Erin: 12:30-2:30pm/$200 per student.
      Instructor: Chef Erin
      Learn cooking skills from scratch with Chef Erin from Amaris Catering. Your kids will learn to cook a variety of foods and desserts. Food preparation, safety skills and nutrition will also be part of the program!

    Offered to rising 3rd Graders

    • 3rd Grade Jumpstart: 10am-12pm/$150 per student.
      Instructors: Bridget Avants & Regina Guerra
