Looking for something fun for your son (rising 1st - 7th grade) to do before his summer camp begins? If so, the Kickoff to Summer Camp is your answer. The four day camp will take place at Stuart Hall beginning the day after Memorial Day - Tuesday, May 28th through Friday, May 31st. Fun activities on and off campus will take place.

Stuart Hall Basketball Competition Camp 2019

This summer, Stuart Hall School will be holding basketball camp for 3rd - 7th graders. The camp will be divided into 2-three week sessions. These sessions will consist of campers being divided into teams and they will play full court games. Awards will be given out each week of the competition camp for MVP, top rebounder, steals leader, assist leader, blocked shots leader, and top scorer. These awards will be determined from the stats taken during the games and observation of game play. The camp fee will be $300 per session. You can also register by the week. Cost will be $100 per week. Just list the weeks you child will be attending. The camp will run from 2:00-4:00.

First session May 27th – June 14th Second session June 17th – July 5th

After a great season, we want to continue to improve our basketball program at Stuart Hall. Register ASAP as camp enrollment will be limited.

End of Summer Mini-Camps!

Current students in PreK3-7th Grade and their siblings are welcome to attend. There are options each day between 8-12 and 12:30-2. Please note that there is a 30 minute lunch break from 12-12:30 for students spending the day. Options are listed by individual weeks and grouping of grade levels.

Options for Rising PK4-K students

8am-12pm Knights Training Camp

This camp will be grouped according to age. The boys will spend 75 minutes in four rotations, including Cooking and Art, METALS, Story Time, and Movement. We will also have snowball breaks and dance parties throughout the week! Our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing a meaningful experience full of fun, friendship, and teamwork for the boys.

12:30-2pm Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. We positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through our best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum.

12:30-2pm Knights Of The Round Table- A Reading And Writing Camp

Rising PK4 and K Students will be introduced to capital letter formation and Fundations principles.  Activities will target sound/letter association, rhyming, and pre-literacy tasks. Rising K students will be introduced lower case letter formation and Fundations paper.  Activities will target review of sound/letter associations and rhyming as well as an introduction to word family decoding strategies and word, syllable and sound manipulation.

Stuart Hall is excited to offer a collaborative literacy and writing program designed specifically for rising students at Stuart Hall, during mini camp. Occupational Therapist, Kimberly Bradley, with Kim4Kids, and Speech-Language Pathologist, Lesley Brown, with NOLA Speech and Language have designed a Fundations based literacy and writing program available to Stuart Hall students in grades PK 4- 2nd.

Each group of students will receive 45 minutes of each discipline targeting the techniques from Wilson Fundations.

  • Phonemic awareness

  • Phonics/word study

  • High frequency word study

  • Reading fluency

  • Vocabulary

  • Comprehension strategies

  • Handwriting/Letter formation

  • Spelling

Kimberly Bradley has been providing OT services at S/H for 18 years and is trained in Fundations. This experience has allowed her to develop a Handwriting Helpers program specifically designed for the rising students at Stuart Hall. Kim4Kids will provide an occupational therapist for multi sensory handwriting instruction.

Lesley Brown, also trained in Fundations and serving Stuart Hall students for over 10 years, provides a hands on approach to literacy enrichment and treatment.  Enhancing those skills at grade level and providing intervention for struggling readers.

12:30-2pm Cooking With Chef Erin
