Career Opportunities
Stuart Hall School for Boys was founded in 1984 by William M. Gallop in response to the long-time need for a Catholic boys' school in the New Orleans area at the preschool and elementary levels. The school is named for Janet Erskine Stuart, a well-known religious of the Sacred Heart who was an English educator living at the turn of the century. Janet Erskine Stuart's writings and philosophy transcend the limits of time and represent the basis upon which the school was founded.
The school is autonomous in setting its curriculum and determining its future. The school is affiliated with the Archdiocese of New Orleans, is accredited by the Independent School Association of the Southwest (ISAS), and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
